This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Oversee the development of data centers from the initial opportunity stage through to Ready-to-Build and energisation.
β’ Evaluate sites considering technical, planning, power, and infrastructure factors.
β’ Formulate grid connection and power strategies in collaboration with National Grid, DNOs, and utility providers.
β’ Assist in the planning, permitting, and stakeholder engagement activities.
β’ Identify and address technical and development-related risks.
β’ Ensure that projects are feasible, scalable, and compliant with construction standards.
β’ Proven experience in developing data centers or large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
β’ In-depth technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and utility systems, with the capability to assess engineering decisions and question technical assumptions.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of ERCOT planning and grid connection protocols.
β’ Experience guiding projects from early development phases through design, permitting, and readiness for delivery.
β’ Highly analytical, self-motivated, and comfortable taking on significant responsibilities.
