Infrastructure Development Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of data centers from the initial opportunity stage through to Ready-to-Build and energisation.

• Evaluate sites considering technical, planning, power, and infrastructure factors.

• Formulate grid connection and power strategies in collaboration with National Grid, DNOs, and utility providers.

• Assist in the planning, permitting, and stakeholder engagement activities.

• Identify and address technical and development-related risks.

• Ensure that projects are feasible, scalable, and compliant with construction standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing data centers or large-scale infrastructure initiatives.

• In-depth technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and utility systems, with the capability to assess engineering decisions and question technical assumptions.

• Comprehensive understanding of ERCOT planning and grid connection protocols.

• Experience guiding projects from early development phases through design, permitting, and readiness for delivery.

• Highly analytical, self-motivated, and comfortable taking on significant responsibilities.
