This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• You will perform research and analysis to create guidance, processes, procedures, templates, and methodologies for grant compliance reviews.
• You will establish standardized formats and provide guidance for compliance reviews, working papers, and monitoring record retention.
• You will manage grant compliance and ensure strict adherence to OMB and program-specific regulations; participation in audits and inspections to verify the appropriate use of grant funds may be required.
• You will oversee the prompt processing of grant payment requests, monitor required reporting, and recommend grant closeout.
• You will offer guidance on grant compliance programs and operations; evaluate internal controls for adequacy, accuracy, and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and Accenture policies.
• You will identify and coordinate professional development training for grant staff and may facilitate internal training sessions.
• You will represent Accenture in meetings and working groups that require expertise in financial review and compliance.
• You will provide guidance on the maintenance and retention of financial and compliance records in line with federal, state, and internal requirements.
• You will assist in planning, scheduling, distributing, and supervising section workload; monitor productivity and quality control; support staff training and offer informal performance feedback.
• You will supervise assigned personnel.
• You will undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, public administration, or business administration; or equivalent experience (30 semester hours = 1 year).
• Three (3) to Five (5)+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, auditing, or grant administration.
• At least two (2) years must involve auditing federal grant programs.
• Experience with FEMA grant programs is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of grant management processes and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a consulting environment.
• Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and compliance.
• Capability to motivate staff, communicate effectively, assess development needs, and coordinate training.
• Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations, OMB guidance, and grant program compliance.
• Remote: This position allows for remote work for the majority of your work hours.
