Information Security Specialist – Detection, Response and Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical leader for the information security operations platform, overseeing the architecture, strategy, and upkeep of detection controls, incident response, vulnerability management, identity management, and perimeter governance.

• Act as the primary technical resource for the domain, aiding in the advancement of process maturity and the technical growth of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in Information Security operations (SecOps, Blue Team, or related fields).

• Advanced practical experience with open-source SIEM platforms, including the creation of intricate rules, event correlation, tuning, and detection engineering.

• Proven experience in leading and structuring corporate Vulnerability Management initiatives.

• Familiarity with commercial Vulnerability Management solutions (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar).

• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) governance, encompassing Active Directory, SSO, MFA, identity federation, and RBAC models.

• Experience in administering and governing Next-Generation Firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar).

• Practical knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.

• Experience with automation utilizing Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Proficiency in both Windows and Linux environments.

• Understanding of Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or OCI).

• Technical independence and resilience in decision-making under resource constraints or during crisis situations.

• Highly collaborative and solution-oriented mindset for tackling complex challenges.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage both technical and executive (non-technical) stakeholders.

• Strong commitment to documentation and knowledge sharing.
