Information Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Analyze and report on clients’ information and their cyber security status.

• Create and suggest customized security enhancement plans.

• Provide guidance on cyber security regulations, standards, and industry best practices.

• Design, deploy, and deliver security management systems along with training.

• Oversee and execute client implementation projects.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to transform requirements into clear business outcomes.

• Effectively communicate complex technical ideas to various stakeholders.

• Manage multiple client projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and confidently.

• Commercially savvy, capable of understanding client requirements and delivering value-driven solutions.

• Highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

• Enthusiastic about cyber security and eager to expand knowledge.

• Experience in data protection, with a solid understanding of applicable data protection laws (e.g., UK GDPR).

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, CAF, HIPAA, DSPT.

• Experience in gap analysis, auditing, or penetration testing.

• Skills in process and procedure development.

• Knowledge in software or AI development/testing.

• Background in client-facing roles.

• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CREST, etc.).
