Information Security Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Offer expert assistance to our clients regarding all aspects of information security, particularly in the creation and enhancement of ISMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001, supplemented by other frameworks such as TISAX, NIS2, DORA, ISO 9001, SOC 2, BCM, or KRITIS.

• Provide guidance and counsel to external clients throughout the complete certification journey, from gap analysis to audit.

• Assist our clients in leveraging our Digital Compliance Office (DCO) platform, making intricate compliance manageable and accessible.

• AI-assisted consultancy: utilize AI tools (notably Claude) to enhance efficiency in client engagements — including research, documentation, and risk assessments.

• Contribute to the strategic enhancement of the information security module within the DCO.

• Aid data protection colleagues with technical inquiries that lie at the intersection of information security and data protection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both German and English, with strong written and spoken skills (C1 or higher).

• A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience as an information security expert in client-facing roles (consulting, managed services, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 as the primary framework and verified practical experience with at least two additional frameworks (e.g., TISAX, NIS2, ISO 9001, SOC 2, DORA, BCM, KRITIS).

• ISO/IEC 27001 certification (e.g., Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor).

• Willingness and enthusiasm for AI-assisted work methodologies; you actively incorporate AI as a tool in your daily tasks.

• Nice-to-have: experience with TISAX as a primary secondary framework.

• Familiarity with Claude or other large language models (LLMs) in a consulting/advisory setting.

• Additional auditor certifications (CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, etc.).

• Experience with tools such as Confluence, HubSpot, and Jira.
