Information Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for coordinating CHN’s frameworks, programs, and methodologies related to policies, standards, risk assessments, monitoring, and certifications in the technology sector.

• Assist in advancing the information security agenda with an emphasis on risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

• Formulate and evaluate policies, procedures, standards, and various documents that support information security initiatives.

• Perform routine network and application vulnerability assessments and oversee the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.

• Facilitate security awareness training for all CHN employees and contractors.

• Engage in third-party risk management efforts while promoting organizational values aimed at enhancing efficiency and equity.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in the relevant field.

• Proven understanding of information security concepts, standards, and regulations (preferably HIPAA, PCI).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to take ownership, manage projects, and achieve results in dynamic environments.

• Demonstrated experience in a multistate/multi-affiliate setting.

• Technical expertise in information security, networks, security tools, contemporary application development, and web technologies.

• Relevant security certifications: CISSP, CISA, ISO 2700 LA/LI, and SANS.

• Proven ability to maintain a customer-focused service approach in a high-pressure environment.

• Strong attention to detail, effective follow-up skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
