This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provides technical leadership and is accountable for establishing the direction for the IT architecture, standards, design, and implementation strategies for the company’s application systems, infrastructure, and/or network-based cloud product systems.
• Develops, assesses, and executes plans and design proposals for impactful IT solutions, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methods while considering key factors such as long-term effectiveness (service delivery and cost), practicality, technical constraints, and criticality.
• Leads and conducts architecture security reviews in alignment with relevant information security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs risk assessments and threat analyses to identify information security risks and vulnerabilities within complex IT and Manufacturing applications and systems.
• Promotes standardization and adoption of TOGAF’s cybersecurity building blocks.
• Offers cybersecurity guidance and support for both IT and manufacturing solutions.
• Provides architectural and design advice, analysis, and direction for key enterprise-wide projects and strategic initiatives related to information security and privacy.
• Facilitates conflict resolution and process improvements by finding common ground and fostering cooperation.
• Assists development and infrastructure teams with complex application security designs and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborates with Enterprise Architects and Senior IT Architects to design and implement solutions.
• Builds trust with clients and management.
• Evaluates the merits of alternative technical solutions and achieves consensus on the optimal approach.
• Learns, adheres to, promotes, and enhances recognized methodologies for designing and delivering solutions.
• Ensures that non-functional requirements, including but not limited to security, disaster recovery, availability, and performance, are met.
• Investigates technology and industry trends to sharpen both personal and Jabil’s competitive advantage.
• Validates solutions prior to full implementation through modeling or prototyping.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A post-graduate degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience in a related field.
• Knowledge and experience in designing secure IT and Manufacturing applications and systems.
• Familiarity with architecture risk reviews.
• Expertise in the adoption and standardization of TOGAF.
• Strong, in-depth knowledge of threat modeling (OWASP, MITRE).
• Understanding of all architectural components and their interrelationships.
• Proficient in Software Engineering and Architectural Principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge and experience in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity gaps within internally developed LLM, GenAI, and Agentic AI models.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments of LLM, GenAI, and Agentic AI models.
• A deep understanding of the interplay between application design, data, and infrastructure environments.
• Proven experience across security competencies, such as Identity and Access Management, Cloud Security, Data Security, and Application Security.
• Strong grasp of secure software development practices and technologies, including vulnerability detection, identification, and remediation.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with application vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
• Knowledge of compliance and application security standards across the enterprise IT landscape, with a deep understanding of enterprise risk management methods and techniques to achieve successful outcomes in a multinational environment.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills.
• Sound judgment and capability to manage stressful situations.
• Experience leading teams in application development.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, etc.
• Familiarity with server-side technologies.
• Knowledge and experience with client-side technologies like Node and Angular.
• Experience working within an Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of SOA, including REST, SOAP, API Management, and other integration patterns such as ESB and EIP.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with UML or ArchiMate.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
