This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create high-quality and visually appealing deliverables, including infographics, charts, diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, dashboards, briefs, and presentation visuals.
• Convert complex, technical, or ambiguous information into organized, accessible, and visually attractive formats.
• Collaborate to develop visual systems, frameworks, and narratives that bolster strategy, research, and decision-making.
• Generate materials that are optimized for both print and digital formats.
• Implement human-centered design principles throughout the design process, from understanding user needs to testing visual solutions.
• Work closely with strategists, researchers, and subject-matter experts to ensure that visuals accurately represent user needs and client objectives.
• Rapidly iterate based on stakeholder feedback, data insights, and testing outcomes.
• Recognize client challenges and convert them into clear, customized visual artifacts that promote clarity and alignment.
• Collaborate with strategists to engage clients in defining goals, clarifying requirements, gathering input, and presenting design solutions.
• Demonstrate efficiency under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Assist in the creation of templates, visual standards, and repeatable processes.
• Active Clearance: Secret preferred.
• Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design, UX Design, Visual Journalism, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in graphic design or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in information design, with a passion for crafting visual narratives and utilizing data to deliver impactful solutions.
• Proficient in various design areas (e.g., experience design, brand development, information design, graphic design) to propose and create optimal solutions for each project.
• Highly motivated to address end-user challenges, fulfill stakeholder needs, and achieve business objectives.
• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to meet deadlines and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and guiding clients and teams toward clarity regarding requirements.
• A positive, open attitude with a focus on supporting others.
• A design portfolio is required for consideration.
• $100 monthly internet/cell phone stipend.
