This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Offers assistance to the clinical and ancillary service teams to promote the adoption, integration, and utilization of health information technology, which includes, but is not limited to, electronic health records and associated systems.
• Delivers application support, integrates workflows, provides training, troubleshoots, and offers consulting on related applications.
• Supplies end-user support to enhance effective process design, development, and implementation in conjunction with the organization’s use of Electronic Medical Records and other related system implementations and upgrades.
• Manages a high volume of support requests and resolves them promptly.
• Collaborates efficiently with end-users and IT personnel to address application and workflow challenges.
• Provides troubleshooting services and coordinates the resolution of technical issues and information technology problems linked to electronic medical records.
• Serves as a liaison between end-users and vendors.
• Identifies new processes, system functionalities, changes, and enhancements to bolster clinical information, optimize productivity, and elevate compliance with quality metrics.
• Conducts training for new employees.
• Facilitates training for end-users at all levels to enhance their understanding of applications.
• Assists in the implementation of new and improved workflows and processes.
• Ensures that any new or modified clinical information systems uphold patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
• Oversees projects as assigned to meet deadlines and organizational requirements.
• Completes tasks related to system updates, upgrades, and conversions.
• Actively engages in meetings and committees as approved or assigned by the supervisor.
• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic is preferred
• A minimum of three years of related experience, including support for healthcare-related applications.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or another EHR is strongly preferred.
