Informatica PowerCenter, Teradata

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design and execute ETL solutions utilizing Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from diverse agency sources.

• Automate data staging processes and enhance ETL job scheduling for improved performance and efficiency.

• Administer and provide support for ETL environments, encompassing both development and production systems.

• Conduct repository backups, recovery procedures, and system maintenance.

• Create mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows employing a broad spectrum of Informatica transformations.

• Monitor and resolve issues with ETL jobs across development, testing, and production settings.

• Compose and optimize intricate SQL queries and Unix Shell scripts for data marts and interfaces in Teradata.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, document technical solutions, and assist with project planning.

• Engage in unit, integration, and system testing.

• Offer technical support, mentoring, and guidance to team members.

• Communicate project status and deliverables to leadership and clients.

• Continuously learn and incorporate new technologies to improve system performance and capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter and ETL development.

• More than 5 years of experience in writing complex SQL and performance tuning.

• At least 5 years of experience with Teradata (v17+), including Fastload, TPT, and Multiload utilities.

• Over 5 years of experience in administering Informatica PowerCenter.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Unix Shell (Bash/Korn) scripting.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Must reside in or near Springfield, IL.

• More than 5 years of experience in data warehouse development.

• Over 5 years of experience in data modeling using ERWIN or similar tools.

• At least 2 years of experience with Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript (React).

• Familiarity with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Address Doctor, and Metadata Manager.

• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, or healthcare data systems.

• Background in Agile environments.

• Knowledge of BI and data integration technologies across relational and multidimensional systems.
