This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Service Manager for Maintenance Services is responsible for overseeing the implementation of maintenance projects across North and South Carolina.
• This role involves estimating project scopes, offering technical support to the sales team, and supervising Team Leaders to ensure projects are completed in line with contractual commitments. Key responsibilities include managing personnel, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring prompt reporting. Flexibility in work schedules and readiness for weekend travel are essential.
• Prepare estimates and proposals for all projects within the designated area.
• Offer technical expertise and assistance to the Sales team.
• Directly oversee the Team Leaders assigned to the Service Manager's jurisdiction.
• Manage personnel to guarantee that all projects are sufficiently staffed and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Support the recruitment of hourly workers in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Cultivate relationships with both new and existing customers based on regional, area, and company sales strategies.
• Provide updates on project status to the MS Area Manager and communicate any challenges and recommendations promptly.
• Facilitate issue resolution at the project level.
• Collaborate with the Area Planner/Scheduler to ensure sufficient staffing, tools, and equipment for all assigned projects.
• Maintain adaptability in work schedules, which may fluctuate weekly.
• Be prepared to travel on weekends to assist with client activities.
• Fulfill all commercial, operational, and company reporting obligations by the designated deadline.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5-7 years of experience in construction, equipment maintenance, project management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of project controls, project risk management tools, and industrial equipment/processes.
• B.S. Degree in Construction Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training (or equivalent) is required prior to hiring or within 30 days of onboarding.
• NCCCO Rigger Level II certification is preferred; candidates with or without Level I certification may be considered with the expectation to obtain Level II within 180 days of hiring.
• GC License, CMRP, PMP.
