Industrial Hygiene Technician – Industrial Hygiene

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Deliver services and support as an Industrial Hygiene Technician (IHT).

• Collaborate with US Fusion And Specialty Construction | US Rubber And Specialty Applications at The Saltstone Facility located at the Savannah River Site.

• Implement job site management strategies to ensure successful contract completion.

• Conduct leak testing to verify structural leak tightness and chemical protection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 12 months of relevant experience under the guidance of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

• Proficient in operating appropriate sampling equipment and methods in accordance with industry standards.

• Technical expertise in the use of various industrial hygiene instruments.

• Ensure calibrations of industrial hygiene equipment are maintained.

• Create equipment management documentation and provide training on the use of equipment.

• Inform supervisors and personnel regarding monitoring outcomes.

• Conduct industrial hygiene surveys, sampling, studies, and investigations based on directives from the Certified Industrial Hygienist.
