Industrial Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to grasp design requirements and project goals.

• Generate comprehensive sketches, blueprints, renderings, and sample concepts.

• Design innovative and functional retail and point-of-sale solutions.

• Assess product safety, aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability.

• Create precise CAD drawings and technical documentation.

• Test and enhance product designs using prototypes and specialized software.

• Research appropriate materials and production methods to ensure cost-efficient manufacturing.

• Partner with production teams to address manufacturing or material issues.

• Collaborate closely with sales, production, and marketing teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assist in showcasing concepts, prototypes, and final designs to clients.

• Offer technical insights to aid in budgeting and production planning.

• Stay updated on current design trends, materials, and manufacturing technologies.

• Contribute suggestions and enhancements to promote innovation and product quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.

• Significant experience in product design, preferably in the retail or point-of-sale sectors.

• Familiarity with plastics manufacturing and fabrication processes (experience with wood fabrication is a plus).

• Proficient in CAD and design software, including SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

• Experience with rendering software such as KeyShot, Photoview 360, or 3D Studio Max.

• Knowledge of production methods such as CNC routers, laser cutters, and sheet fabrication.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
