This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +5 more states.
• Provide support to customers across the United States and Canada by assisting with the installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing of advanced municipal water treatment systems.
• Travel to client locations to aid in the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of municipal water treatment equipment and systems.
• Engage with mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Collaborate with customers, project teams, and internal support groups to ensure safe and successful project outcomes.
• Travel on Mondays and Fridays, with field service work scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday at customer sites throughout the U.S. and Canada.
• Conduct training sessions for customers and convey technical information effectively.
• Perform field service tasks in various environments including offices, manufacturing facilities, construction sites, and municipal water or wastewater treatment plants.
• Proven experience in servicing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and industrial control systems within industrial, manufacturing, or municipal settings.
• Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, control panels, and industrial automation.
• Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment, VFDs, conduit, grounding, and three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting, control panel wiring, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, network troubleshooting, and control systems.
• Capability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
• Experience with instrumentation such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, level transmitters, and temperature sensors.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to conduct equipment startup, commissioning, functional testing, and preventative maintenance.
• Valuable experience with pumps, pumping systems, instrumentation, or water/wastewater equipment.
• Comfortable facilitating customer training sessions and clearly communicating technical information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while handling multiple customer locations and priorities.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) policies.
• Experience with ServiceMax is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport for travel within the U.S. and Canada.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working around operating industrial equipment as necessary.
