This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +2 more states.
• Assist in establishing efficient and dependable operational sequences for the functionality of data center equipment and systems within the product range.
• Execute assigned responsibilities within the controls team while aiding in the creation of operational sequences that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance our control strategies within the data center sector.
• Collaborate with team members from the controls group and other departments.
• Responsible for the successful completion of operational sequences, HMI development, and timely testing execution that meets product and customer specifications and requirements.
• Aid in the formulation of test plans and scripts for performance and witness testing.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at automating end-of-line testing processes.
• Work closely with senior team members on operational sequences and test execution.
• Familiarity with HVAC and data center control strategies.
• Understanding of applicable industry regulations and standards.
• Capability to analyze schematics and P&ID drawings, coupled with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Proficiency in creating block programming, structured text, and ladder logic.
• Comprehension of fluid dynamics, psychrometrics, and HVAC electrical systems.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Over 2 years of experience in controls design and implementation.
• Experience with Siemens PLC.
• Demonstrated expertise in control strategies within the data center cooling industry or HVAC-related sectors.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the aptitude to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team, showcasing strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Skilled in HVAC software systems, DDC/PLC-based controllers, building automation protocols, pumps, VFDs, and sensor/actuator systems.
