Individual Giving Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and grow a portfolio of individual donations of $10,000 and below by formulating strategies, implementing business campaigns, and analyzing donation metrics;

• Collaborate with the communications department to create outreach materials through email, social media, radio, and print to boost donations.

• Oversee and manage BVM's participation in employee giving initiatives such as United Way, among others.

• Supervise the Donor Administrative Assistant and the processes related to donation data entry, donor acknowledgment letters, and reporting.

• Coordinate third-party fundraising efforts, which includes creating toolkits for existing supporters wishing to host events and establishing customized pages (e.g., Act Blue).

• Alongside other development team members, organize donor engagement events, both online and in person (with occasional travel).

• Provide guidance on stock donation procedures for interested donors as needed;

• Oversee donor incentives,

• Assist with overall BVM development tasks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing fundraising efforts, developing donor relationships, and crafting campaign strategies, including online and digital initiatives, within a mid to large-sized nonprofit organization, ideally with an emphasis on racial justice and equity, and a budget of $5 to $10 million or more.

• Proficiency in donor database management and donor tracking is essential.

• Strong command of Microsoft Office is required (specifically Mail Merge using Excel and Word).

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team setting; adept at managing multiple projects concurrently and adjusting swiftly.
