Independent Freight Broker Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Foster and expand current relationships with direct shippers.

• Oversee the entire load lifecycle, which includes pricing, booking, tracking, negotiating with carriers, dispatching, customer service, and uploading digital paperwork.

• Function as an independent and self-sufficient cradle-to-grave freight brokerage agent managing your own book of business.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess at least one active direct shipper customer ready to move freight from day one.

• A minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience as a 1099 Independent Freight Agent, OR over 2 years of combined W-2 freight brokerage sales experience with transferable accounts and carrier dispatch knowledge.

• Must be capable of autonomously pricing, booking, tracking, and closing out loads; no training will be provided.

• Required to have a reliable computer, a dedicated phone line, and high-speed internet access.

• Must legally reside and operate within the United States.
