Independent Freight Broker Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Foster and enhance existing partnerships with direct shippers.

• Oversee the entire load lifecycle, which includes pricing, booking, tracking, carrier negotiations, dispatch, customer service, and the uploading of digital paperwork.

• Function as a self-sufficient freight brokerage agent, managing all aspects from start to finish.

• Operate independently utilizing the provided authority, bond, required cargo and liability insurance, back-office support, and software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess at least one active direct shipper customer ready to begin moving freight on the first day.

• A minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience as a 1099 Independent Freight Agent, OR 2+ years of combined W-2 freight brokerage sales experience with transferable accounts and carrier dispatch experience.

• No training will be provided; candidates must be capable of autonomously pricing, booking, tracking, and closing out loads.

• Must have access to a reliable computer, a dedicated phone line, and high-speed internet.

• Must legally reside and operate within the United States.
