Independent Freight Broker Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance current relationships with direct shippers.

• Oversee the entire load lifecycle, encompassing pricing, booking, tracking, carrier negotiations, dispatch, customer service, and digital paperwork uploads.

• Function independently as a cradle-to-grave freight brokerage agent.

• Operate a self-sufficient freight brokerage business utilizing the company's authority, bond, customer-required cargo and liability insurance, back-office support, and software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess at least one active direct shipper customer prepared to move freight from day one.

• A minimum of 6 months of verifiable 1099 Independent Freight Agent experience, OR 2 or more years of combined W-2 freight brokerage sales (with transferable accounts) and carrier dispatch experience.

• No training is provided; candidates must be proficient in pricing, booking, tracking, and closing out loads independently.

• Must have a dependable computer, a dedicated phone line, and high-speed internet access.

• Must legally reside and operate within the United States.

• Must function as a 1099 contractor.
