Independent Freight Broker Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Cultivate and enhance current relationships with direct shippers.

• Oversee the entire load lifecycle, which includes pricing, booking, tracking, negotiating with carriers, dispatching, providing customer service, and uploading digital paperwork.

• Function as a cradle-to-grave operator for your individual business.

• Utilize the company’s authority, bond, required cargo and liability insurance, back-office assistance, and software tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess at least one active, direct shipper customer prepared to move freight from day one.

• A minimum of 6 months of verifiable experience as a 1099 Independent Freight Agent, OR 2+ years of cumulative experience in W-2 freight brokerage sales (with transferable accounts) and carrier dispatch.

• No training will be provided; candidates must be proficient in pricing, booking, tracking, and finalizing loads independently.

• Must have access to a reliable computer, a dedicated phone line, and high-speed internet.

• Must legally reside and operate within the United States.
