Independent Environmental Professional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Actively seek Independent Environmental Professionals across the nation, with a focus on the NYC Tri-state area, GA, SC, NC, northern CA, OR, and WA.

• Gain exposure to a diverse range of property types, including residential, office, retail, hospitality, and warehouse/distribution facilities.

• Collaborate with experienced environmental scientists and geologists to independently conduct and lead projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of environmental experience and be recognized as Environmental Professionals (EP) according to ASTM 1527-21.

• Have completed over 300 Phase I Environmental Assessments (EAs).

• Ensure regulatory compliance.

• Hold a current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training certification; certifications as an asbestos inspector and/or in lead-based paint are advantageous.

• A degree in environmental science, engineering, or a geology-related field, along with relevant industry experience, is recommended.

• Must demonstrate advanced technical writing capabilities.

• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.

• Display meticulous attention to detail.

• Show resourcefulness and initiative.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing to team efforts.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Willingness to travel up to 30-40% of the time.
