Independent Contract Editor – Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Revise academic manuscripts authored by non-native English speakers to ensure that language does not hinder research communication.

• Choose manuscripts according to your areas of expertise.

• Verify edits for precision and reject any incorrect modifications.

• Apply your own edits based on your specialized knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess native proficiency in English.

• Hold a Master’s degree, PhD, or a professional degree in a relevant discipline.

• Have substantial experience in editing papers or working within a related field.

• Hold a documented current or prior affiliation with an accredited, not-for-profit college or university that has selective admission policies and offers classes primarily in English.

• Must reside in the United States (individuals from countries outside the United States are not eligible for this role).
