This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Serve as the lead for significant cybersecurity incidents.
• Oversee the complete response process, from validation to scoping.
• Collaborate with teams to restore impacted services.
• Deliver situation reports to executive leadership.
• Take ownership of and enhance incident response procedures.
• Continuously refine the incident response framework.
• Design and conduct tabletop exercises.
• Execute incident readiness initiatives.
• Lead reviews after incidents and ensure that lessons are incorporated.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing incidents.
• Direct experience in leading high-severity cybersecurity incidents.
• Experience in developing or shaping an incident response program.
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
• Ability to work independently.
• Effective collaboration across various functions.
• Experience dealing with incidents in cloud infrastructure.
• Capability to engage with technology teams during incident responses.
• Analytically inclined with a background in data utilization.
• Exceptional communication skills, especially under pressure.
• Proven track record as a self-starter.
• Strong skills in process design and documentation.
• Demonstrated coaching and change-enablement abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of incident response methodologies.
