Incident Responder, Tier 2

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage with clients to facilitate their remote onboarding onto the BlackCloak platform.

• Address client inquiries, alerts, incidents, and questions promptly.

• Assess cybersecurity alerts, evaluate risks, and provide mitigation responses.

• Perform network vulnerability assessment scans on client infrastructure.

• Communicate findings from vulnerability and threat assessments to clients.

• Contribute to the Incident Response Program.

• Participate in an on-call rotation and escalation team.

• Offer post-onboarding support to clients through regular touchpoints as needed, ensuring a timely and professional approach.

• Engage in knowledge transfer sessions, product training, and other strategic initiatives as required.

• Mentor and assist Client Success and Security Team Members.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of BlackCloak’s solutions, platform features, and best practices.

• This position necessitates occasional availability during nights and weekends to manage client incidents, emergency onboardings, and other issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in an information security/cybersecurity analyst role.

• A college degree in a related Information Technology discipline (IT/CS/CE) or equivalent experience.

• Industry-recognized information security certifications are advantageous, including:

• CISSP

• GIAC

• OSCP

• Security+

• Experience in penetration and vulnerability testing.

• Proficiency in Windows and macOS forensic investigation and vulnerability management.

• Technical expertise in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently while managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to interact effectively with clients.
