Incident Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of systems projects and enhancements, establishing scope, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.

• Facilitate daily project activities in collaboration with business, engineering, product, and operations partners.

• Evaluate system workflows and data flows to pinpoint gaps, inefficiencies, and defects.

• Convert business requirements into clear, testable system specifications and use cases.

• Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, impact analysis, and implementation trade-offs.

• Track project and operational metrics, producing concise reports and summaries.

• Lead risk mitigation strategies, escalation processes, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Assist in change management, testing, cutover, documentation, and stakeholder readiness.

• Offer tiered support and issue triage, investigate root causes, coordinate resolutions, and document lessons learned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in systems project management, technical program management, or a related role delivering systems or platform changes within a technology-driven environment.

• Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements or integrations, from requirements gathering to deployment and stabilization.

• Experience in analyzing system workflows, data flows, or configurations to identify problems and propose enhancements.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools to oversee scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across various stakeholders.

• Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
