This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Take charge of daily inbound logistics operations from gate-in to dock-to-stock.
• Ensure precise receiving, quality inspections, GRN posting, labeling, and storage according to SOPs, safety guidelines, and TAT/accuracy SLAs.
• Coordinate vehicle and dock scheduling with transport partners and security personnel.
• Oversee unloading processes; conduct counts and visual inspections (damage, seal integrity, batch/lot, MRP, expiry/FEFO).
• Report shortages or damages and escalate discrepancies without delay.
• Verify and reconcile Purchase Orders (PO), Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), Delivery Notes, and Invoices prior to posting.
• Post GRN in WMS/ERP within the specified SLA; document variances and remarks.
• Ensure items are labeled, palletized, and barcoded according to standards for efficient put-away.
• Implement scan-based put-away into system-directed bins.
• Assist in daily stock reconciliations and provide justifications for variances.
• Maintain precise records for audits; collaborate with Finance to support Goods Receipt and ensure document completeness.
• Communicate with factory, sourcing, transporters, QA, PO, SAP, LEA, and Planning to resolve inbound issues.
• Provide timely updates to the Warehouse Manager regarding delays, damages, and escalations.
• Generate daily inbound Management Information System (MIS) reports: receipts versus plan, dock-to-stock time, GRN TAT, damages, and accuracy.
• Propose and support small kaizen initiatives in receiving, staging, and put-away to enhance TAT/costs and improve accuracy.
• Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering (Graduate/Postgraduate preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inbound warehouse operations (experience in Retail/Lifestyle/FMCG/e-commerce is preferred).
• Proficient with WMS/ERP systems (e.g., SAP EWM/Oracle/BlueYonder) and handheld scanners.
• Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
• Familiarity with documentation (PO/Invoice/ASN; basic understanding of GST/e-way bills is advantageous).
