In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health assessments within members' residences.

• Travel throughout a designated coverage area, which may include overnight hotel accommodations, car rentals, and/or flights.

• Engage in approximately 45-minute appointments focused on individualized health discussions.

• Review medication regimens and medical histories.

• Execute physical assessments.

• Administer additional diagnostic tests as requested by the health plan, such as diabetic eye examinations, spirometry, and bone density screenings.

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflow for each assessment.

• Facilitate virtual appointments when necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health Diagnostic & Preventive Services.

• Cultivate trusted relationships that contribute to improved health outcomes.

• Refer members to their health plans and encourage the involvement of family members when suitable.

• Ensure that primary care physicians are informed about the members' health status and quality of life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted license in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Capability to acquire and sustain multi-state licenses in the coverage area, as necessary.

• MD or DO degree required.

• Ability to safely and comfortably carry out duties in homes that may have household pets, secondhand smoke, airborne allergens, or irritants.

• Willingness and capacity to travel locally and across licensed states, potentially up to 100% of the time.

• Competence to conduct virtual visits as required.
