In-Home Traveler Physician, Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health evaluations for members at their residences.

• Travel throughout a designated coverage area, which may include overnight stays in hotels, car rentals, and/or flights.

• Establish trusted relationships to enhance health outcomes.

• Perform approximately 45-minute evaluations during visits.

• Review patients' medications and medical histories.

• Conduct physical assessments.

• Administer additional diagnostic tests as prescribed by the health plan, including diabetic eye exams and spirometry tests.

• Utilize an iPad and clinical workflows for each evaluation.

• Conduct virtual visits when necessary.

• Deliver Signify Health services, incorporating diagnostic and preventive care such as spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screenings.

• Serve individuals nationwide and connect them to suitable care options.

• Make referrals to health plans and promote the involvement of members' family and friends.

• Ensure that primary care physicians are informed about members' health and quality of life.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active, unrestricted license(s) within the coverage area(s).

• Capable of obtaining and maintaining multi-state licenses in the coverage region, as necessary.

• Hold either an MD or DO qualification.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states.

• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time within a defined coverage area.

• Competence in performing duties in private homes that may have household pets, secondhand smoke, airborne allergens, or other irritants.

• Capacity to conduct virtual visits as required.
