In-Home Physician, Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-home health evaluations lasting approximately 45 minutes.

• Interact with individuals to address their health inquiries.

• Assess medications and review medical histories.

• Execute physical evaluations.

• Administer additional diagnostic tests as directed by the health plan, such as diabetic eye exams and spirometry.

• Utilize an iPad and follow a clinical workflow for each assessment.

• Travel nationwide to connect individuals with suitable care.

• Make local visits and travel within licensed states as necessary.

• Carry out virtual appointments as required.

• Provide Signify Health Diagnostic & Preventive Services, including spirometry, diabetic eye exams, and bone density screenings.

• Note that prescribing medication, ordering lab tests, or modifying existing treatment plans is not within the scope of this role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active, unrestricted license in the relevant coverage area(s).

• Qualifications as an MD or DO.

• Willingness to travel locally and within licensed states as required.

• Capability to conduct virtual visits as necessary.

• Comfortably and safely perform duties in homes that may have household pets, secondhand smoke, and airborne allergens or irritants.

• Multi-state licenses are preferred.
