Import Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Process and integrate customer data for the movement of goods

• Act as a liaison for customer service

• Address issues and manage customer inquiries

• Process Customs and PGA entries

• Initiate files and log notes in corporate systems

• Examine commercial invoices

• Convert and verify shipment weight, volume, and foreign currency values

• Communicate effectively with both internal and external clients

• Ensure adherence to regulations set by U.S. Government agencies

• Coordinate details related to shipping

• Maintain ongoing communication with customers, carriers, and vendors

• Prior experience in customs brokerage
