This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
• Oversee daily import and export operations for clinical supplies and associated materials.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping and customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and other necessary import/export documents.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, couriers, and logistics service providers to facilitate timely customs clearance and delivery.
• Track international shipments from dispatch to final delivery, addressing any delays, customs holds, or documentation issues.
• Ensure compliance of import/export activities with local regulations, customs requirements, company protocols, and trade compliance standards.
• Work alongside Clinical Supplies, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to address shipment-related challenges.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for import permits, licenses, customs clearance, and other regulatory needs.
• Keep accurate records of shipments, documentation, tracking information, and supporting files for audit and compliance purposes.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of shipment information and documentation prior to dispatch or customs submission.
• Relay shipment status, risks, delays, and necessary actions to pertinent stakeholders.
• Aid in the investigation and resolution of shipping discrepancies, customs issues, damaged shipments, and other logistics exceptions.
• Assist with freight invoices and shipping-related documentation.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing import/export processes, shipment visibility, documentation accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by supplying shipping and trade compliance documentation.
• Perform other import/export and logistics-related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in import/export, logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, supply chain, or a comparable operational role.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping processes.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, couriers, and logistics providers is preferred.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the capability to maintain precise documentation and records.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to follow up and resolve operational challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is advantageous for supporting Taiwan-based operations.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Standard Monday–Friday work schedule.
