This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Lead the successful delivery of IT implementations, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Manage the IT implementation timeline, which includes resource allocation, travel arrangements, and on-site needs.
• Provide stakeholders with regular updates regarding project status, potential risks, and dependencies.
• Serve as the primary IT contact, ensuring IT requirements are synchronized with construction timelines and progress.
• Record and define site-specific technical needs in accordance with USRS Infrastructure Standards.
• Collaborate with vendors to guarantee the proper setup of switches and servers, low-voltage cabling, wireless access points (WAPs), and printer installations.
• Partner with leadership to procure center circuits and oversee execution and follow-ups with ISP vendors.
• Recognize, monitor, and mitigate risks while escalating issues as needed to ensure project success.
• Identify, document, communicate, and validate all necessary IT equipment orders, ensuring accurate order placement by USRS.
• Perform virtual and on-site assessments to evaluate IT infrastructure readiness, granting final approvals prior to go-live.
• Willingness to travel and provide hands-on technical support during critical implementation phases, including go-live and initial troubleshooting.
• Ensure a seamless transition of IT operations to the steady-state support team after project completion.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT implementation, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Strong comprehension of network and infrastructure components, such as WAN, LAN, VPNs, low-voltage cabling, telecom, and switch setup.
• Demonstrated capability to effectively manage multiple IT implementation projects, resources, and timelines.
• Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks, ensuring timely resolution of escalated issues.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with radiology workflows, modality requirements, and healthcare IT implementations is advantageous.
