This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and oversee project charters, baseline metrics, data collection plans, and proof-of-concepts to validate project outcomes.
• Ensure effective planning, development, execution, acceptance, and post-implementation in alignment with project goals.
• Establish KPIs for each designated initiative, concentrating on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, service, and quality.
• Facilitate the resolution of issues, risks, and challenges that arise during the deployment process.
• Identify opportunities for process automation, enhanced scalability, and efficiency within the installation team.
• Conduct weekly cross-functional meetings to assess project progress, issues, and risks.
• Provide consistent updates to business stakeholders and leadership on project advancements and impacts.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure CI-driven ideas are incorporated into design and documentation through engineering modifications.
• Ensure timely execution of sanctioned engineering changes across all installation sites, including retroactive application at previous sites.
• Offer continuous support and guidance to installation teams, troubleshooting design and material delivery challenges as necessary.
• Document and disseminate best practices, process enhancements, and innovative strategies throughout the installation organization.
• Cultivate a culture centered on transparency, swift decision-making, and synchronized collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of pertinent work experience in industrial/robotic automation installation projects.
• Capability to implement innovative solutions and deliver projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget.
• Proficient in identifying problems, potential risks, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Ability to effectively implement change initiatives with minimal disruption and maximum acceptance.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, both in guiding the technical team and managing solutions to competing priorities.
• Experience utilizing business intelligence tools to generate insightful metrics.
• Process-oriented, lean-focused, methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• Preferred qualifications include: PMP certification, Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen certification, and working knowledge of Jira, Smartsheet, and SAP.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
• A valid driver’s license and the capability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
