Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• The Project Lead is accountable to the head of the PMO and oversees all stages of the implementation cycle for Smartlinx’s suite of workforce management applications.

• This role encompasses project planning, analyzing and documenting customer business requirements, configuring the software to meet customer needs, testing, and providing education to both system administrators and end-users, along with status reporting.

• Ensures timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

• Collaborates directly with both internal and external stakeholders to promote customer success and the realization of client business goals.

• Maintains a steady flow of projects, preventing any from becoming stalled or impeded.

• Fosters mutual accountability in project execution, ensuring that resources effectively manage their assigned tasks while also confirming that the customer meets their obligations as outlined in the Statement of Work.

• Identifies and assesses project risks, developing strategies to avoid or mitigate these risks, thereby minimizing their impact on the overall project.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience in the deployment of Payroll and/or workforce management systems.

• At least 4 years of experience with software deployments and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Proven experience in managing resource utilization, revenue, and project profitability.

• Previous experience in software delivery, training, and customer support.

• Familiarity with Microsoft T-SQL, including the ability to read and write SQL queries, is a plus.

• Preferred experience with Human Resources, Time & Attendance, Scheduling, or similar software applications.
