This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of EPI across the market.
• Serve as the liaison between the acquirers and the EPI organization, crafting a customized implementation plan and guaranteeing smooth coordination among all stakeholders until the go-live phase.
• Through consistent engagement with individual members and the wider ecosystem, encourage collaboration, share best practices, and generate momentum.
• Be the primary contact for aligning initiatives, addressing challenges, and maintaining a comprehensive view of progress, positioning yourself as the internal advocate for EPI members and a crucial contributor to realizing the vision.
• Assist new members with onboarding, collaboratively design their EPI implementation plan, and establish suitable project governance.
• Oversee the complete delivery of the plan.
• Act as the main point of contact between the EPI member and the EPI organization, ensuring timely implementation by guiding the member's project manager.
• Manage all aspects of the implementation (technology, legal, branding, marketing, product) and facilitate sessions to address product, regulatory, and technical challenges.
• Lead and prepare steering committee meetings in collaboration with the member's project manager.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, identify risks and mitigation strategies, and provide clear, actionable reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with fellow implementation managers to further refine the approach to EPI implementation.
• A Master’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in the financial services or consultancy sector, preferably with exposure to banking, acquiring, or payment scheme environments.
• Strong background in project/program management and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to lead from a business perspective while exhibiting a strong affinity for technology.
• Proficient in English and French, Dutch, or German (CEFR C1 or C2); proficiency in other European languages is an advantage.
• Capable of remaining effective and focused in a dynamic environment where processes, regulations, and products are continually evolving.
• A proactive attitude combined with strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and problem-solving.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work and track progress through KPIs.
• Comfortable working remotely in a pan-European, multicultural setting.
