This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the successful implementation of all KPI Ninja by Health Catalyst service offerings to healthcare organizations involved.
• Maintain a consistent and effective operational framework for implementation projects through thorough IT investment analysis, project management methodologies, effective allocation of project resources, and comprehensive project performance reporting.
• Serve as a primary point of contact or escalation for clients and facilitate connections with the appropriate resources.
• Communicate and negotiate effectively with immediate managers, colleagues, and client partners with a high degree of confidence and composure.
• Develop and aid in communications to the organization and customers concerning project initiatives, status updates, and progress reports.
• Act as a liaison between application technology vendors, internal IS departments, and end users.
• Actively engage in meetings.
• Ensure compliance with established standards.
• Follow existing project management methodologies by utilizing and promoting established tools, capturing best practices, identifying areas for process enhancement, and implementing related changes.
• Create and manage all essential project governance documents and implementation strategies.
• Proactively assess project activities, establish contingency plans, execute corrective measures, and monitor issue resolution to mitigate risks such as scope and budget deviations.
• Define, identify, secure, and coordinate internal and external resources and subject matter experts as necessary for program/project implementation.
• Manage the effective use of resources assigned to the project team, and proactively communicate resource capacities and shortages to relevant organizational leaders.
• Ensure that project team members meet deadlines and deliverables within budget while achieving promised business functionality.
• Monitor and hold project resources accountable for achieving performance metrics.
• Manage projects within established schedule and budget constraints in accordance with specifications, ensuring that business objectives are fulfilled.
• Oversee the project's scope, ensuring that any changes to the scope are reviewed and approved as necessary.
• Manage stakeholder expectations to maintain alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Identify and leverage interdependencies within the project to ensure seamless integration throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Direct work assignments for both internal and external resources to ensure support efforts are successfully realized.
• Initiate and facilitate change management through established communication channels.
• Supervise the creation of integrated testing, validation, training material development, and the delivery of training sessions.
• Identify, monitor, and devise strategies for risk mitigation.
• Associate degree from an accredited institution of higher education or equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Previous project management experience within an HIE, HIE vendor, or healthcare organization supporting software implementations.
• Prior clinical knowledge is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Health Information Exchange (HIE) landscape and Health Information Technology (HIT).
• Understanding of HL7 V2, C-CDA, FHIR, and various healthcare messaging standards.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of project management principles, practices, and the software development life cycle.
• Exhibit capability in fostering and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships, alongside proficiency in team building, conflict resolution, and group dynamics.
• Manage large, diverse groups of individuals effectively while collaborating with all staff levels as well as executive leadership.
• Demonstrate experience in assessing customer needs and documenting business cases and technical requirements.
• Showcase effective problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
