This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the initial rollout for new Benchling clients, as well as expansion initiatives with new teams or processes for existing clients.
• Take ownership of implementation success from project initiation to go-live, utilizing strong project management abilities, scientific knowledge, and extensive product expertise.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, manage project activities, and collaborate with team members to fulfill project deliverables, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality deployments.
• Grasp customers' scientific workflows and assess how Benchling can be optimally utilized to address their key business requirements.
• Facilitate requirements and design workshops, carry out data modeling and application configuration, create test plans, guide user acceptance testing (UAT), and train and onboard users.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through the implementation process and ensuring they utilize and apply Benchling Best Practices.
• Understand and document customer challenges, advocating for them internally to drive product enhancements.
• Identify and collaborate with sales on opportunities for account growth after go-live.
• MS or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology, Bioinformatics, Biological Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory or R&D environment, preferably in antibody discovery, strain engineering, or process development. You should be capable of empathizing with scientists and swiftly grasping complex scientific concepts.
• Experience in software implementation, ideally with a SaaS software organization.
• Excellent communication skills. You must be able to quickly and effectively engage with a variety of stakeholders, including scientists, IT project leaders, and executives.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a startup atmosphere.
• Inquisitive, innovative, and persistent. You should be eager to collaborate with clients and other Benchling colleagues as a thought partner.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% based on customer and project requirements.
• Familiarity with the Benchling platform.
• Bonus if you possess:
• Experience using Benchling, particularly as a Benchling administrator.
• Software implementation experience, preferably with a SaaS software company.
