This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Set up inspection programs, which encompass occupancy records, various inspection types and routes, code-based checklists, and scheduling in accordance with the agency's adopted fire code (NFPA 1, IFC, or local amendments).
• Establish permitting processes, including operational and burn permits, as well as application and review workflows and renewals.
• Implement invoicing and fee collection mechanisms across permits, inspections, and other billable prevention services.
• Develop workflows for inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire protection systems, which include submission of reports by third-party contractors, tracking deficiencies, and follow-up on compliance.
• Create workflows for fire investigations, focusing on documentation of cause and origin.
• Set up code enforcement processes, violations, and plan reviews, including tracking violations, issuing notices, managing re-inspection cycles, and routing new-construction reviews.
• Collaborate with the designated Implementation Manager to achieve Fire Prevention milestones as planned, identifying risks proactively.
• Keep precise project status updates, level-of-effort actuals, and configuration documentation in Rocketlane.
• Act as the Fire Prevention subject matter expert on designated projects across various segments.
• Identify product gaps, defects, and enhancement requests driven by field experiences for Fire Prevention to present to the Team Manager and Product organization.
• A minimum of three years of customer-facing implementation, configuration, or professional services experience in a SaaS setting, or equivalent expertise in fire prevention, code enforcement, or fire inspection.
• Strong knowledge of the public safety sector, particularly in fire prevention, fire code enforcement, and inspection practices.
• Familiarity with fire prevention workflows, including inspections, permitting, invoicing, investigations, and ITM (inspection, testing, and maintenance), within established code frameworks (NFPA 1, IFC, or local amendments).
• Understanding of plan review and fire investigation methodologies.
• Proven ability to translate program or regulatory requirements into software configurations.
• Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple simultaneous customer projects.
• Outstanding communication, training delivery, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with Rocketlane or similar professional services delivery platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel).
