Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement PTC data management tools, including the Windchill suite, in alignment with project plans and Statements of Work.

• Carry out project tasks within established timelines and budget limits while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

• Assist customers with system setup, deployment, and solution execution during implementations.

• Install, configure, rehost, and upgrade Windchill solutions and relevant third-party software.

• Customize client solutions to fulfill both technical and business specifications.

• Aid in workflow adjustments, configuration alterations, and change-management updates within Windchill.

• Create documentation for solution designs, use cases, configuration changes, customizations, and case studies.

• Convert business and technical requirements into actionable implementation plans and system configurations.

• Ensure precise project and technical documentation is maintained throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Engage with clients consistently during the implementation and design phases.

• Offer technical support, mentoring, and advice regarding system functionality, workflows, change management, content management, and configurations.

• Act as a primary contact for inquiries related to implementations and issue resolution.

• Contribute to process enhancements, knowledge sharing, and best practices in Windchill and PLM.

• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to achieve successful project results.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must currently reside in the USA and fulfill federal contractor criteria.

• Proficient in PTC Windchill software with relevant knowledge.

• 2–3 years of experience in managing product information or product data utilizing PTC tools.

• 1–2 years of system administration experience in CAD, IT, or data management environments.

• Experience in Windchill installation, configuration, and migration is required.

• Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) business processes.

• Preferred experience with Change Management, including process analysis, design, and configuration within PDMLink.

• Experience with Windchill Foundation, BOM/Configuration Management, MPMLink, ERP Connector, and ESI is preferred.

• Knowledge of Java, SQL, and REST is preferred.

• Windchill+ experience is highly desirable.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Capable of effective communication with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Ability to provide clear and professional technical mentoring and customer support.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities efficiently.

• Able to work independently with focus, discipline, and accountability.

• Competent in thriving within deadline-driven environments and adapting to shifting priorities.

• Capable of collaborating effectively while maintaining productivity and output.

• Able to perform well under pressure and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

• Willingness to travel to sites across North America as required; some overnight travel may be necessary.
