This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of business processes and document the resulting requirement definitions.
• Collaborate with clients on system design and configuration to meet desired workflow outcomes.
• Grasp and effectively convey the principles of change management.
• Convert client requirements into functional and technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and reports.
• Oversee the testing cycle process with clients for end-user acceptance test scripts related to system design and any enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and reports within the project scope.
• Provide high-quality, targeted training sessions for both train-the-trainer and end-user classes based on documented workflows.
• Assist with the transition of live operations for customers onsite at their locations and troubleshoot as needed.
• Present engaging, informative, and well-structured presentations.
• Conduct training sessions and presentations at the annual customer conference.
• Develop, revise, and offer insights on internal and external training and implementation materials.
• Generate and provide both ad hoc and routine industry reports from the system for clients upon request.
• Build and support custom reports in Business Objects Enterprise, a preferred but not required skill.
• Have a general understanding of application programming, IIS, databases, and system design.
• Facilitate effective project team and client meetings.
• Relay pertinent project information to the assigned project manager, direct manager, and other departments (Development, Customer Care, QA, Sales) in an efficient and timely manner.
• Resolve and/or escalate issues promptly.
• Interact professionally with other internal departments.
• Know how to communicate sensitive or challenging information tactfully.
• Set and manage client expectations on projects, especially in relation to documented scope.
• Oversee daily client interactions on assigned projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ascertain needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• Foster long-term, positive relationships with client personnel to enhance overall account satisfaction.
• Exhibit strong financial and business acumen related to corporate metrics and objectives.
• Proven ability to work effectively remotely when not onsite with a client.
• Submit timesheets and expenses promptly.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Management and/or Computer Science.
• Coursework in GIS is advantageous.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional work experience is required.
• At least 2 years of direct software implementation experience as the primary implementer is necessary.
• Experience with a company that offers proprietary software solutions is essential.
• Exceptional active listening, communication (both verbal and written), and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Thrive in a deadline-driven environment that may necessitate working outside regular hours.
• Show demonstrable organizational efficiency, time management skills, and an adaptability to changing priorities.
• High level of professionalism and proven ability to work productively with a diverse range of client personas.
• Familiarity with Oracle and MSSQL relational database platforms.
• Knowledge of various software development methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.) is beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Working knowledge of Business Objects Crystal Reports, SQL, and scripting is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively (US and Canada), up to 75%, with higher travel required by exception.
