Implementation Committee Member – Advocates Fund Policy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Collaborate on developing an implementation framework and guiding tools that align with the 2024 Advocates Fund Policy.

• Provide insights and recommendations for the sustainable, transparent, and equitable operationalization of the fund.

• Engage with key stakeholders (such as the Legal Education Lead, HR, Alumni, Finance, Legal Practice Leads, etc.) for feedback and alignment.

• Ensure that the proposed framework takes into account the specific contexts of both Kenya and Uganda.

• Draft the implementation plan within the established timeline (suggested: 3-5 weeks).

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have completed the Bar Course or be currently enrolled in one.

• Must have completed an LLB and be eligible for enrollment in the Bar Course.

• Demonstrated experience in policy creation and design.

• Ability and eagerness to work collaboratively in a team environment for a high-priority project with tight deadlines.

• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.

• Previous leadership experience is considered an added advantage.

• Proficient drafting skills and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
