This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Create educational materials aimed at a clinical audience, which include (but are not limited to): e-learning resources; course outlines, objectives, and descriptions; instructional videos; workbooks; user manuals; job aids; FAQs; learning activities; and PowerPoint presentations.
• Provide both synchronous and asynchronous training to new and existing clinical staff and providers utilizing various mediums, including (but not limited to): lectures, workshops, videos, e-learning, demonstrations, and simulations; in both in-person and virtual settings.
• Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the organization to proactively evaluate and identify the clinical education needs of individuals, departments, and the organization as a whole.
• Assist in the successful implementation of new products, policies, partnerships, and pilot projects by creating high-quality training materials for a clinical audience, adhering to project timelines.
• Evaluate client training needs and tailor training delivery to meet the specific requirements of the client’s organization.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to develop client training materials for new features and functionalities.
• Integrate awareness and training of new releases into the training curriculum.
• Provide support to the operational team regarding ongoing training requirements or delivery of client-specific metrics.
• Identify specific training needs, knowledge gaps, and quality challenges, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
• Work closely with the Learning & Development team to create and deliver foundational onboarding and role-specific training programs for clinical staff and providers, emphasizing patient safety, clinical quality, and relevant policies and guidelines.
• Foster a seamless and positive onboarding and training experience for both new and returning clinical staff and providers, aligning with Teladoc’s goals, vision, and cultural values, including a commitment to clinical excellence and the highest standards of patient care.
• Review and update training content as necessary to ensure a current training library that accurately represents operational processes, product/program enhancements, technological updates, and clinical best practices.
• Strive for continuous improvement and enhancement of training content and delivery methods based on feedback from learners and stakeholders, as well as evaluative data.
• Direct patient care experience with strong clinical assessment skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records.
• Clinical training, quality assurance, and documentation experience.
• Telephonic clinical experience is an advantage.
• Passion for learning and the ability to impart knowledge to others.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), documentation capabilities, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in technology, including software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Articulate 360, Storyline, and Learning Management Systems.
• Capacity to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clinical audiences; familiarity with medical and healthcare terminology.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within a growing company with expanding service lines and clientele.
• Demonstrates strong organizational and assertiveness skills, adaptability, and effective teamwork.
• Capable of working cross-functionally (e.g., L&D, operations, data).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and presentation skills.
• Motivated and eager to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with current RN licensure required.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of professional acute care nursing experience.
• Prior experience in designing and delivering training across various formats.
