This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Accountable for the promotion of our client's Biosimilar products to physician offices in Immunology, Dermatology, and Oncology, as well as Integrated Hospital System accounts.
• Meet and exceed sales targets for the promoted Biosimilar products within the designated territory.
• Adhere to company and client compliance policies and procedures.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and healthcare providers.
• Engage in regular collaboration and communication with the client’s customer-facing teams.
• Introduce new products within complex integrated health systems.
• Create and execute business plans that align with the client’s customer-facing strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with Account Team members in hospital and physician-owned infusion centers to engage decision-makers, shorten the buying cycle, and generate new orders.
• Execute national strategies and initiatives.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Relevant experience includes a minimum of 2 years in biopharmaceutical sales or related healthcare sales or services, such as medical device sales, infusion services, Health IT, or health system networks.
• Colleagues in customer-facing positions within our Commercial and Medical Solutions teams may be required to uphold necessary credentials, including vaccination status.
• Preferred: Over 3 years of specialty sales experience in biologics, particularly in Immunology, Dermatology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, or Oncology.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy products, buy and bill, and/or business-to-business selling models.
• Experience in managing complex accounts and territories.
• Proven experience in collaboration with multiple customer-facing roles.
• Background in hospital settings, infusion centers, and specialty pharmacy.
• Comprehensive understanding of billing codes, reimbursement processes, support and medical benefits dynamics, as well as knowledge of the managed care landscape and product approval processes based on policy.
• Ability to verify patient coverage for benefits.
• Experience with Medicare Part B is preferred.
• Knowledge of Specialty Pharmacy practices.
• Capability to drive the utilization of an infused product within a complex integrated healthcare system.
