This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Prepare, organize, and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents.
• Draft and review legal documents, including declarations, affidavits, recommendation letters, and client correspondence.
• Interact with clients to collect information, request supporting documents, provide updates on cases, and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain well-organized and accurate digital case files to facilitate efficient case management and document retrieval.
• Oversee and update legal case management and CRM systems, such as PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Docketwise, Pipefile, and Monday.com.
• Monitor filing deadlines, track case progress, and assist with scheduling and administrative coordination.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal support staff in case preparation, workflow management, and implementation of case strategies.
• Leverage legal technology and AI-assisted tools to enhance productivity, organization, and workflow efficiency.
• Consistently achieve performance expectations related to quality, productivity, responsiveness, and client service.
• A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree is required.
• At least 2 years of direct experience managing U.S. immigration cases is essential.
• Proven experience in preparing and managing U.S. immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents.
• Required experience with legal case management and CRM software, including platforms like Docketwise, PracticePanther, Lawmatics, Pipefile, or similar systems.
• Strong drafting, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven track record of meeting performance goals and productivity expectations in a fast-paced legal environment.
• High proficiency in using AI tools to improve work product and efficiency is highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
