IFM Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the onboarding and training initiatives for IFM Facility Managers and Technicians.

• Maintain and update process documentation, playbooks, training resources, and onboarding programs.

• Offer coaching and operational assistance to field teams.

• Ensure adherence to overtime reporting, p-card usage, preventive maintenance requirements, refrigerant management, safety training, and management agreements.

• Manage communication, reminders, and deadline tracking within IFM teams.

• Develop and sustain property/site repositories that house essential facility information and documentation.

• Support IFM resources, supplier information, and operational tools.

• Conduct audits and collaborate with service line leaders to provide performance feedback.

• Analyze operational metrics, identify service shortfalls, and implement corrective measures.

• Promote best practices, innovation, efficiency enhancements, and operational excellence initiatives.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure that Preventative Maintenance is integrated into the CMMS tool and executed as per plan and budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline.

• 8–10 years of experience in commercial property management or facility management.

• Strong expertise in financial reporting, variance analysis, and contract evaluation.

• Proven experience in managing, developing, and motivating teams.

• Preferred experience in CMMS/work order management.

• Continuous improvement mindset.

• Competence in training and capability development.

• Governance of standard work/processes.

• Experience in compliance management.

• Proficient in KPI and operational reporting.

• Skills in root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Familiarity with knowledge management.
