IDP Automation Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Influences various facets of automation development, business operations, and workflows by establishing Power Platform policies, governance, and best practices.

• Engages with multiple Microsoft Power Platform components (with a strong emphasis on Power Automate & Power Apps) and may lead automation initiatives, being responsible for the effective technical delivery of low-code/no-code business solutions.

• Aids in overseeing critical automation projects and client interactions, offering guidance and technical support to junior engineers and developers.

• Designs and constructs intricate automated workflows, applications, and dashboards based on sanctioned functional and technical requirements.

• Develops innovative Power Platform solutions that optimize business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and align with corporate objectives and strategic priorities.

• Diagnoses and resolves issues within Power Platform environments as directed by management.

• Guarantees timely delivery of Power Platform automation projects that fulfill business and technical specifications.

• Collaborates effectively as part of cross-functional project teams to deliver cohesive automation solutions.

• Serves as a technical liaison representing IT automation capabilities and frequently takes on technical leadership roles in automation projects.

• Recognizes opportunities to streamline processes and enhance procedural workflows through automation, conveying these to stakeholders to promote business efficiency and improved customer service.

• Identifies prospects for process and procedure improvements and communicates them to other departments/areas to enhance efficiency and customer service levels.

• Utilizes advanced analytics and modeling tools to project impacts and evaluate automation outcomes.

• Suggests design enhancements, exercising independence in defining project objectives and solutions within the assigned scope.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, along with eight (8) to twelve (12) years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination.

• Requires advanced expertise and experience in Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and Dataverse to implement intricate, scalable solutions.

• Experience with model-driven and canvas apps, implementing various types of Power Apps solutions.

• Knowledge of integrating Power Platform solutions with other systems, including Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, and various ERP systems.

• Applies expertise to analyze and develop solutions for highly complex challenges.

• Experience with data integration, including APIs, REST services, and SQL.

• Typically requires experience with structured application development and change control methodologies.

• Thoroughly interprets and comprehends business needs, driving innovation and excellence through technical solutions.
