This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Take ownership of the product strategy, lifecycle planning, and performance metrics for designated portfolios.
• Track revenue, margins, market share, product mix, adoption rates, product availability, launch progress, and lifecycle risks.
• Recognize opportunities for growth, rationalization, enhancement of positioning, and improvement of customer value.
• Keep a comprehensive overview of approved product names, availability, claims, and customer-facing messaging.
• Conduct analysis on markets, customers, competitors, pricing, tenders, reimbursement, and pipelines.
• Transform insights into actionable recommendations for STRAP, annual operating plans, launch strategies, and go-to-market plans.
• Oversee dashboards that monitor revenue, funnel performance, campaign outcomes, engagement, stock movement, forecast accuracy, and ROI.
• Leverage CRM, sales data, digital analytics, social insights, and voice-of-customer feedback to refine prioritization.
• Collaborate with Marketing Operations to design integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, web, webinars, congresses, sales enablement, and distributor channels.
• Establish audience definitions, messaging, customer journeys, calls to action, lead-nurture workflows, and measurement strategies prior to launch.
• Co-develop go-to-market plans by country, customer segment, portfolio, channel, and purchasing stage.
• Create value propositions, launch materials, training resources, and sales messages that align with customer needs and business objectives.
• Cultivate strong relationships with laboratories, key opinion leaders (KOLs), key accounts, channel partners, and internal commercial teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in medical science, life sciences, biology, chemistry, biochemistry, marketing, business, or a related field. Equivalent education and experience may be accepted.
• A minimum of five years of experience in product management, marketing, commercial excellence, sales, or a related role within diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
• Prior experience with allergy diagnostics, autoimmune diagnostics, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), clinical laboratory processes, medical devices, laboratory services, or distributor-led markets is highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional local language requirements should be specified by region.
• Strong analytical abilities, planning skills, stakeholder management, and project leadership capabilities.
