• Mastering your expertise in on-premises Active Directory.
• Assisting with the resolution of escalated Tier 2 support tickets.
• Managing Active Directory objects efficiently.
• Handling user accounts.
• Managing computer accounts.
• Overseeing Active Directory group structures.
• Administering service and resource accounts.
• Organizing Active Directory domain structures.
• Managing forest and child topology.
• Creating, modifying, and deleting GPO objects.
• Understanding GPO topology.
• Maintaining Active Directory domain controllers.
• Conducting domain health checks.
• Promoting and demoting servers within the domain environment.
• Preparing new servers for domain promotion.
• Installing security tools post-installation.
• Preparing demoted servers for decommissioning.
• Troubleshooting replication issues effectively.
• Updating operating systems.
• Installing necessary security patches.
• Managing Sites and Services topology.
• Overseeing DNS zones and objects.
• Creating, modifying, and deleting DNS objects.
• Troubleshooting DNS resolution issues.
• Managing the AWS Console.
• Overseeing EC2 instance management.
• Handling EC2 instance backups.
• Developing reporting and management scripts using PowerShell.
• Retrieving data from Okta.
• Generating ad-hoc reports promptly when requested.
• Adhering to report formatting standards.
• Following scripting standards.
• Strong practical knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory implementation and administration.
• Proficiency in AD Replication Management tools.
• Familiarity with Sites and Services Topology.
• Experience in managing Active Directory Users and Computers.
• Knowledge of Organizational Units Structure and Design.
• Understanding of Security Access Control Lists (ACLs).
• Familiarity with Security Group Types.
• Knowledge of Forest and Child Domains.
• Working knowledge of AD group policies (GPOs both Local and Domain).
• Preferred experience with Active Directory Group Policy Manager (AGPM).
• Understanding AGPM policy deployment within the domain environment.
• Strong comprehension of Domain Naming Services (DNS).
• Good understanding of DNS Zones, forwarders, conditional forwarders, and PTR records.
• Proficiency in DNS management tools.
• Familiarity with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP and LDAPS).
• Knowledge of Active Directory integration with Distributed File System Replication (DFSR).
• Experience with PowerShell is encouraged.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in AWS console management.
• Experience in Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instance management.
• Understanding of EC2 instance storage requirements.
• Knowledge of AWS EC2 instance backups.
• Familiarity with AD Quest tools is a plus.
• Experience with RMAD DRE AD backup.
