Hypersonic Airframe and Propulsion Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Design, evaluate, and integrate hypersonic ground and flight testing systems and vehicles.

• Lead and/or assist in every phase of the development of hypersonic test articles and testbed vehicles.

• Conduct initial thermal and structural sizing evaluations.

• Perform studies on packaging for internal components.

• Forecast vehicle mass properties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field.

• 10-15+ years of industry experience.

• Expertise in high-speed airbreathing propulsion vehicles.

• Proficient in mechanical analyses.
