Hydrogeologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Join a team dedicated to simulating groundwater flow, surface water, and projects related to contaminant transport.

• Projects encompass tunnel and mine dewatering, assessments of tailings migration, evaluation of injection and production well fields, aquifer assessments, as well as various initiatives related to geotechnical studies, resource management, contaminated land and infrastructure projects, and environmental impact assessments.

• Contribute to field investigations, develop conceptual models, assess problems, and engage in both analytical and numerical modeling, along with project communication and management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Geological / Environmental / Civil Engineering.

• At least 10-15 years of relevant experience.

• A post-graduate degree is advantageous.

• Experience with FEFLOW (3D), GeoStudio (CTRAN/W, SEEP/W, SEEP3D, SLOPE/W) is essential.

• Familiarity with GeoModeller and Leapfrog is a plus.

• Proficiency in the French language is beneficial.

• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required; proficiency in French is an asset.

• Solid organizational and time management skills.

• Good interpersonal abilities coupled with a positive, team-oriented mindset.

• Capable of working both collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
